The spark
I've always believed that the best things in life arrive in your mailbox, not your inbox. Growing up, I was the person who got genuinely excited about receiving a handwritten letter or a thoughtfully designed card. In a world of constant digital noise, there's something sacred about physical mail that actually deserves to be opened.
Love Le Hare started as a creative outlet during a time when I was feeling uninspired by my day job. I was spending evenings sketching, lettering, and experimenting with design. My friends started asking if I could design things for them. Then they asked if I'd send them art regularly. And suddenly, I had an idea that wouldn't leave me alone.
The journey
Love Le Hare officially launched in January 2026 as a one-woman mailing club. Every piece of art you receive is designed, hand-lettered, and thoughtfully curated by me. Each month, I pick a new theme, sketch new designs, write a real letter, and source small-batch stickers. Then I pack every box myself, wrap it with tissue paper and confetti, and send it out into the world.
What started as a wild idea has become something I'm genuinely proud of. I love knowing that somewhere out there, someone is opening a box of handmade art and feeling a little burst of joy. That's the whole point. In an age of algorithms and automated content, I wanted to create something that felt intentional, personal, and real.
The why
I started Love Le Hare because I believe in slowing down. I believe that good design matters. I believe that art doesn't have to be for galleries or Instagram to be valuable. And I believe that you, whoever you are, deserve to receive something beautiful that was made specifically with you in mind.
Every drawing, every letter, every sticker comes from a place of genuine creativity. I'm not trying to go viral. I'm not trying to scale to millions of subscribers. I'm trying to create a small community of people who appreciate the magic of receiving something thoughtful in the mail.
If you're tired of empty inboxes filled with marketing emails and algorithmic content, Love Le Hare is for you. It's a subscription to slowness, creativity, and intentional design. It's a reminder that good things are worth waiting for.
